The Rides

On this page we will highlight one of the underappreciated aspects of touring as a musician – the touring ride.  It is an inherent problem that if you are going to take your songs on the road, you definitely need a ‘dependable’ vehicle.  And that’s where the fun begins …

We invite any Knoxville area performers to send us photos of their rides and any amusing stories that are fit to print.  Hopefully, we will devolop and nice album here of what rides are transporting our local performers to and from the shows.

Oh, what have we here? Um, a little bit of everything. Duct tape, plywood, some type of tar substance, and plenty of character. This is what touring is all about. We wish we could have been there the night that the awning was ripped off. And we pity the foos that were on the wrong end of those dents and scrapes along the sides and back. This is going to be a tough act to follow. The bar has been set very high. Or very low … ahem.
